Just a couple of days left of school! I created this free printable summer calendar for us to plan and thought you would love it too! Get more details and download it below!
Our summer will OFFICIALLY start this Friday (YAY!!!) and Jett and I have been making plans and goals for all the things we want to do together during this fun season! We have lots of things on our summer agenda, and with me needing to work as well as mom, there are a lot of moving parts to keep up with!
So I made this HUGE calendar for both of the months of June and July and had them laminated so that I can write everything down for the summer and Jett can see all that is coming up! It is so fun now that he is learning how to read – I’ll be able to write things on here for each day and it gives him a place to go in the morning and read for himself to see the plans for the day!

The best part about this project is that it cost under $20 to do! That is a win in my budget friendly book! I’ll share more details about how I did it below, but for now let’s talk about what we have planned!
June is going to be our slow month. Jett has one camp that he is signed up for (Flag Football), a week at his grandparent’s house, and we have one family reunion. My babysitter will also be taking vacation a few days that month, so I wanted to be sure to record that as well so I don’t forget!
I have all the main, already scheduled big events written in and I’m going to let Jett write in a few things that he wants to do. Yes, this makes my perfectionist side twitch a little, but I’m trying to learn to let go of stuff so we can actually have some fun and he feels some ownership and direction over what we do!
I really love that it gives us a big picture look at the day (what the must do’s are) but gives us some freedom to also make some plans and do something a little different every day!
Some of the things in my arsenal of fun this summer are:
- Neighborhood pool
- Library
- Bike rides to the yogurt store
- Schlitterbahn (we have season passes)
- Movies
- The Woodlands park tour (visiting all the playgrounds in The Woodlands)
- Safari Stop (indoor play place at our church)
The best part about these is that they are completely customizable and reusable all year long! I can definitely see us using these throughout the year now that I have them. I love having one big place where we can record everything we have going on, which is a lot, all the time lol, that everyone can see and read. I have one on the fridge that I got from Emily Ley and while I love it, it just isn’t really big enough to write everything in on.
I created the file (which you can download below) and had them printed at Office Depot for less than $20! If you don’t have them laminated it is even more affordable, but I really wanted the capability to reuse them and make changes as needed!
How to Print Large Posters at Office Depot
Head to the Office Depot Website.
Hover over the “Print + Copy” Option, and then choose “Document Printing”
Choose the Blueprints option.
(I’ve also heard that you can print large black & white photos with this same method, but I can’t speak to that experience. The website does recommend NOT doing this because the quality is not good so you could try it, but proceed with caution!)
Upload your file using the website uploader, and choose your customization options. I printed it on the 24lb Blueprint paper, and it was a great weight and thickness. You can also change the quantity here too.
If you want to laminate it, click on the “Finishing” tab and then toggle the “Lamination (Per Sheet)” option to YES. Then click “Add to Cart”!
You can have them shipped to your house for free or print and pick up on the same day! It took about three hours for mine to be ready – but I placed my order very early in the morning and it was ready an hour after the store opened on Memorial Day. It was SO easy that I’m wondering why on earth I haven’t ever done this before.
Pro tip: This would be SO good for business planning if you’re planning out projects, launches, content, etc. I’m thinking of printing some and bringing them to my mastermind retreat for the girls later this summer so we can use them to plan our content out!
