I started making our family photo albums last year because I was so tired of having thousands of photos on my phone and none of them printed out! Smart phones have both made it more convenient to document life and harder to actually preserve those memories, haven’t they? How to Make a Family Photo Album
I made two books with Blurb last year – one as a family photo album with all of our adventures and photos in it from previous years and one full of photos of Jett’s artwork from his pre-school and pre-k days! I had three or four copies of the artwork book printed and they made the best gifts for grandparents and aunts and uncles last year! I am planning on making another one with all of his kindergarten artwork too!

The second book I made was our actual family photo album and I had SO much fun putting it together! The hardest, but also best, part of doing one of these is going through the photos and getting them all organized! While it is tedious, no doubt about that, it was also very nostalgic to walk down memory lane and relive some of the memories that I put in the book!
Sometimes these online book-building websites can be a teensy bit overwhelming and confusing, so I went ahead and filmed a quick video showing you how to get her done!
