today i am finally feeling 100% recuperated from my sinus infection. joy to the Lord! we are setting up for the holiday home boutique tonight so i wanted to be comfy today because i will have this on all day long!

i wanted to look simple, stylish and put together for the home boutique tonight! i also knew the temperature was going to drop considerably so i wanted to be nice and cozy since my “booth” was set up outside. this scarf is gorgeous but i have a hard time deciding what to wear it with because it is short and i don’t know how to tie it. any suggestions??

its friday which means it is college football day for me! this weekend lsu plays alabama and oklahoma state plays kansas state. three of the teams (lsu, bama, and osu) are undefeated and only two will walk away with that title after this weekend. this is a crucial point in our season – we could potentially slide into the #2 spot on the BCS and have a shot for the national championship. someone pinch me.

this was literally an outfit i threw together in about five minutes before church on sunday morning. but it was so well received (i.e. the youth all said i looked cute *bonus*) that i thought i would wear it again monday!

an altogether simple outfit made cute by a statement piece. i love this top. it is soft and flowy and super comfy.
