i am thrilled to show you guys the handiwork of my beautiful friend carrie of caroline g bows today. we met because she sent me one of the sweetest emails i have ever had the pleasure of receiving after she checked out my blog. seriously – i love this girl! i hope we can meet up one day! right now she is partyin her boo-tay off at the blissdom blogger’s conference with awesome girls like maggie (gussy sews), and kate (small things blog). color me green with envy. i hope our paths cross one day soon girl!
how did you learn to do what you do?
I watched a bunch of youtube videos, read some books, and did a lot of trial and error. I also asked a lot of questions to the people at the fabric shop.
where do you find your inspiration?
Anywhere and everywhere. I find a lot of color inspiration in the world around me.
what is your favorite handmade shop?
Got to love the ruffle: gussy sews!!
what is your favorite product in your shop?
Definitely the Chiffon Trio Headband!

Don’t be afraid to fail. I can promise you that even if you fall on your face and fail miserably; you’ll look back at be proud of yourself for trying!
