… it would be hot texas summers.
swimming at my parent’s house
two wet dogs jumping in the pool after the frisbee
warm tomatoes with salt on them
old navy flip flops
cold pools
floaties
chlorine scented hair
sunscreen (i’m a whitey folks!)
braided pig tails
boat rides
warm sun on my back
sonic drinks
cold beer
riding in the jeep
soft beach towels
sunnies
chips and salsa
laughter with friends
family reunions
gumbo
i can’t wait to move back to texas for those sweltering summers! 🙂
Yep! I love it here! It makes it even better that I get PAID to play outside ALL summer. You should totally come visit!

Everything you said is exactly what I love about our summers in Georgia (minus the gumbo, haha). I will appreciate it much more this time around!
Oh girl – my dad make the BEST gumbo in the world! The sad thing is I wouldn't eat it until I was about 20. I thought all gumbo had seafood in it but after my dad introduced me to chicken and sausage gumbo I was hooked! I will have to make you some and you can come visit 😉
