Happy Tuesday friends! I’m at my Enneagram study this morning (where we are going through Enneagram: The Christian Perspective by Father Richard Rohr) but wanted to pop in really quickly and share these three Target swimsuits with you!
I had to run into Target yesterday to pick a few things up and noticed that swimsuits are buy one, get one 50% off this week so I grabbed these three to try out! Two of them are from Kona Sol, the new line of swimwear at Target, and safe to say I’m in love with them!
Three Target Swimsuits to LOVE!
SIZING INFO: I am typically a size L or 12, but I prefer sizing UP one in a swimsuit for more breast coverage (functionality, remember?) I am also pretty short, with a short torso, coming in at 5’4″. I was comparing the sizes between L and XL for the two one piece suits and the major difference seemed to be the length, so you might try sizing up one if you’re taller!

Swimsuit: Kona Sol Woodsy Green Strappy Back Women’s One Piece Swimsuit
Price: $34.99
Size: L
Fit: TTS
I love the color and print on this bathing suit! I am trying to break out of the “I am a mom, I must wear black” box this year and try out some colors and prints and this one was a great starting point! I love the strap detail on the back too! Kona Sol swimsuits are lined and this one has a built in shelf bra, so the gals (I’m a 36G for reference) felt very well supported in this one!
Swimsuit: Kona Sol Women’s V-Neckline One Piece Swimsuit
Price: $34.99
Size: L
Fit: TTS
This is the second Kona Sol suit I grabbed and I love it even more than the first one! It is also fully lined and has a built in bra too! The straps cross in the back but they are adjustable and I think I could uncross them and it would still fit correctly (but I’ve yet to actually do that – it is just a theory I have in my head). And finally – I feel like even with the low-cut V, I am supported and not hanging out everywhere if I were to wear it to the neighborhood pool. (So scandalous, being the pastor’s wife.. lol)
Swimsuit: Top – Square Neck Bralette Bikini Top // Bottoms – Macrame Inset High Waist Bikini Bottom
Price: (Top) $19.99 (Bottom) $19.99
Size: Top 16W, Bottom 14W
Fit: TTS (See more details below)
And finally, a true two piece! I honestly haven’t bought or worn a two piece since before Jett was born, but I figured there is no time like the present so here ya go! This is actually part of the plus size collection from Xhilaration, so I have no idea if it is true to size or not (I’ve never bought anything plus sized) but I just kind of guessed and got it right! My bra size is 36G and the 16W fit well for the top (and it has four slips where you can adjust the back strap into) and the bottom fit exactly right, and I normally wear a size XL in bathing suits, so that seems true to size for me.
These are also separates, and the bottoms to the cheetah print suit can be found here if that is your thing!
I just asked Jett (while I was writing this post) which one he liked the most and he loved the middle one (this one) so I think that is the one I’ll keep – but I’m curious to know which one you are loving!? Leave a comment below and tell me! If you’re looking for more bathing suits for this summer, you can check out my faves from Amazon here.
