Joggers are becoming my favorite kind of pants to wear, when I really don’t want to wear pants! Here are five outfits with green joggers to wear right now with pieces that are already in your closet!
It is MAY!! Yesterday was my birthday, and tomorrow I’m headed to see My Favorite Murder with my friend Maggie! This has been a good, busy (as usual), week and I’m ready for this weekend! My husband will be home from a work trip and I’ll get a break for a little bit from doing all the things, and maybe he will even bring me home a birthday present! Lol!
Lately I’ve been feeling less and less inspired to pull jeans out of my closet, but I’m not quite ready for shorts all the time either! So I keep grabbing these joggers and they are the perfect transitional piece from spring to summer! The fabric is very soft (it is a cotton/Tencel® blend), doesn’t wrinkle too easily, and lightweight, so good for warmer afternoons!
I like buying something that I know I can put together a few outfits with once I get it, so I thought I’d share five outfits with green joggers that you can wear right now, with items that you most likely already have in your closet!
Five Outfits With Joggers to Wear Right Now
First up, let’s talk about these joggers! Like I mentioned above, they are cotton and Tencel®, which is probably the softest combination of fabrics out there! They are true to size, I wear them in a size L for 12/14, and the length is perfect! (I’m 5’4″ for reference). They are super versatile, as you’ll see below, and easy to incorporate with lots of things you probably already have! I’ve been loving them!
Let’s start with this one! I know we have broken the seal into May, but it is still a little chilly some mornings and I know some of my up-north friends are still having some early spring temps happening! So I grabbed this lightweight, bateau neck sweater and paired it with my new favorite wedges for a comfy, but still warm, look for spring!
This look is classic, simple, and easy to pull off for just about anything your day might be bringing! A chambray shirt should be a staple in your wardrobe because of it’s versatility, so bringing it out with these joggers just made sense! I added a pop of leopard with my favorite flats, and tied the shirt up a bit to bring some detail and shape to my natural waist. Voila – easy, comfy, and put together!
Next up is a teensy bit dressier look – good for a casual dinner out (maybe a birthday dinner?) or possibly drinks after work! I love that joggers can go from dressy to casual in one fell swoop just by changing up the shoes (these leopard ones are almost sold out but I linked some similar ones below). I kept it simple with a black v-neck tee!
To me, nothing says spring like a pretty blush pink! I love this tee so much (I also have it in green) because it is so soft and fits like a dream! Pink & green are a classic color combo in my book. Finish it off with a front knot and simple flat sandals and you’ve got the perfect Saturday morning outfit!
Stripes go with everything, and this combo is no exception! I would also maybe throw a jean jacket over it for a chilly morning or night out! I always forget that a hat is a great, interesting piece to add to any outfit, and this one ties all the colors together well!
So friends – are you feeling encouraged to rock some joggers this year? These Gap Joggers are so comfy and also come in black and gray, which could easily go with any of these outfits as well! Which outfit are you most excited to try?
