Mother’s Day is just around the corner so I put together this Mother’s Day Gift Guide to give you some ideas to treat your favorite mama this year!
I’ll just go ahead and say it so it is out in the open – we do not celebrate Mother’s Day. We send cards to Jett’s grandmothers and tell them Happy Mother’s Day, but within the walls of the McLain house here, we don’t make a big deal about it.
There aren’t a lot of “Hallmark Holidays” that we celebrate. You know the ones I mean. Valentine’s Day, Mother’s and Father’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day. The way I see it, we should love and appreciate each other and celebrate them every single day of the year, not just one day. So I let Chris off the hook early in our marriage.
