YAY! Fall is here! Only, kind of it isn’t, as it is still well into the 90s during the day in Texas. My motto during the month of September is “fake it ’til you make it” and I am still convinced that if I dress in fall clothes, burn fall candles, and drink fall drinks, that fall will eventually be required to come out of hiding. Even though I’ve been trying this method for years, the jury is unfortunately still out. Oh well.
This weird end-of-summer-not-yet-fall season is why I believe leggings were invented and are so popular. I am tired of wearing the same pair of shorts and it is just way too hot for jeans, so leggings are a great middle ground. So my apologies first of all to those of you in the “leggings are not pants” camp, because in my house they definitely are, and serve as pants more often than not. I do believe that the bum should always be covered though, so unless I’m headed to Jazzercise, you’ll only see leggings worn technically as “jeggings” and I’m 100% okay with that.

Fall Outfits with Leggings
